Beautiful fabric (hard to tell from the photos)! Gorgeous and unique 1920s black silk velvet bias-cut dress with a striking gold, green and pink polka dot print. Seam around the waist with bias-cut skirt and a ‘v’ tailoring in the front. Full length tapered sleeves with snaps at the wrists. Side waist and neck snap openings.
condition: wearable with care, no odor. Issues are not blatantly noticeable due to busy fabric and velvet. There are several small frays/holes in the fabric where the polka dots have lost their pile and thinned out. Major pulling on the darts/runs in the fabric along the bust that should be reinforced if planning to seriously wear this dress. A 3″ mend right at hem of the front skirt that is not noticeable.
