1940s brown silk suit dress made of brown raw silk and a polka-dotted china silk. Lightweight fabric, unlined, great for spring weather. Wonderful polka dot silk trimmed pockets and a dress bow that pulls through a slit in the front of the jacket. The jacket has 3/4 cuffed sleeves with three fabric covered buttons up the front. The dress bodice has gathered cap sleeves and a straight neckline. Metal zipper up the side of the dress.
Label: The Towne Shop, Salem Portland
Condition: Freshly cleaned and appears to have little wear, however there are five tiny pinholes in the silk bodice. See last photo, three of the pinholes are shown in picture. These are not blatantly noticeable, but price reflects condition issue.
