Wonderful 1950s/1960s Grenelle Estévez black raw silk cocktail dress with a unique back and construction. Halter-like neckline with a strip of fabric running straight down the dipped back. The fabric is tucked with a pucker on the chest. Beautifully constructed – please see the angled tailoring at the waist and hips, front and back of the dress. Large scallop at the front hemline. Fully lined with a black silk organza.

condition: outer dress is near mint – crisp and clean with no holes, stains or wear found. Checked for loose seams. The silk organza lining is starting to fray, several vertical breaks, mostly along the sides near the seams. Can remove or replace, but can be ignored for time being.
