Description

1960s Robert Bestién black patent faux leather croc handbag with a goldtone metal front toggle and patent covered top handle. Removable shoulder strap that attaches with clasps and hoops where the handle meets the purse. Accordion-style opening, lined with a very soft black faux leather. Great old advertisement from the 1960s describing the bags and materials, no doubt the same “Baby Croco” patent. $30-$32 range, sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Altman’s, Woodies, etc…

label: Robert Bestién Originals

condition: No noticeable issues. No issues on the outside, metal is all shiny without discoloration, do not see any noticeable scuffs or scratches to patent. The interior appears to be a thin faux leather that snags easily, so there are small scuffs and snags along the interior top edges and lining of the purse.
