Description

Gorgeous 1960s black sheer crinkle chiffon dress with dramatic flared sleeves and a rhinestone buckle. Embroidery is a silhouette of flowers. Nehru collar, fitted bust and waist. Black satin belt around the waist with a front bow and the rhinestone piece. Fully lined with a flesh-tone acetate lining/under-skirt (with the exception of the sleeves). Nylon zipper up the back with hook and eye closures.

label: no labels, but this dress is from the ‘Woodies’ estate, where most of the clothing was from the Woodward and Lothrop (Woodies) Washington, DC department store, most still with tags. Fabric appears to be a fine nylon with an acetate lining.

condition: near mint. May have never been worn, tag fastener still on sleeve.
