SHIPPING

Most orders ship between 1-3 days of placing your order. If you need an order expedited, please leave a note at checkout stating the date you need your order by. Only express and overnight shipping methods can guarantee delivery by a certain date.

Domestic shipping options are USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Express or FedEx Ground.

Overseas and Canada shipping options are USPS First Class International, USPS Priority International and USPS Express International. Please note that international customers are responsible for all taxes, duties and fees. If your country is not showing up at checkout, please contact us so that we can make an exception.

Multi-item orders/combined shipping: please note that the combined shipping cost on multi-item orders will most likely be less than the shopping cart calculation due to varying box sizes and weights. Shipping FedEx for heavier domestic shipments will also mean a decrease in shipping costs. Contact us for real quotes.

RETURNS

updated 8/10/18: Because Hemlock sells mostly excellent condition pre-1960s and designer clothing, all sales are considered final, but please contact us within 24 hours of receipt if you have any problems with your order. Returns will be considered on a case by case basis. I have been selling vintage clothing for almost two decades and have always given a detailed condition report so that you know exactly what you are purchasing. The clothing is measured as precise as possible, but please ask questions prior to ordering, I can help with fit.

*You must contact us within 24 hours of receipt. If a return is authorized, you must ship back within 48 hours. Items must be returned unworn, undamaged and shipped back with care. Your return will only be accepted if you follow our return policy and receive authorization to send the item back (do not send items back without first contacting us).
*All items from the 1930’s and earlier are not returnable
*Accessories, smalls and costume jewelry are returnable for store credit if returned according to our return policy
*Items may be marked as nonreturnable or returnable in the individual ad
*All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee

**INQUIRE ABOUT SIZE/FIT PRIOR TO ORDERING**

**Ask us prior to ordering if an item can be refunded for fit issues. We are happy to take additional measurements, compare your measurements, provide additional photos, take photos of interior seams, etc…

**Check the item’s measurements, check your measurements, and talk to us about the fit before you place your order. Understand that vintage clothing, especially tailored pieces and dresses from the 1950’s, may require minor alterations to fit perfectly, even if the measurements work, so have realistic expectations when it comes to fit straight out of the box.

**For folks new to vintage online shopping, we do not rent clothing. Most of our clothing is clean, refurbished and ready to wear.

• We reserve the right to refuse packages that do not follow our return policy. Any returns/packages received without notification and return authorization will be refused.

Non-pickup of orders: If you do not pickup your order from the post office and the package sits until it is returned back to us, your refund may be forfeited or you may be charged a restocking fee.
