Adorable 1930s 40s yellow cotton semi-sheer swiss dot dress with embroidered sheer organdy and lace trim. Same owner as 5S947, the reworked teens to 1940s tea dress. Sheer embroidered white organdy fabric insert up the front bodice and puffed sleeves, fabric common in 1910’s. Skirt has large horizontal tucks. Finely sewn vertical pintucks around the hips of the skirt and down the shoulders. Matching waist sash. Pearl shell buttons up the back.
condition: cleaned, pressed and ready to wear. Crisp bright fabric. Only flaw is an extremely faint spot on the lower front skirt that is not noticeable.
