Description
Stunning early 1960s sheer black net cocktail dress with a dramatic ostrich feather trimmed skirt. Sweetheart bustline, gathered cummerbund waist. Apron-cut feather-trimmed over-skirt that hangs open in the back. Black rayon/acetate lining. Back metal zipper with hook and eye closures.
label: Ferman-O’Grady; fabric appears to be a fine nylon netting and acetate lining.
condition: excellent. Appears to be unworn or worn very little. Another dress from the ‘Woodies’ estate, where everything was from Woodward and Lothrop (Woodies) department store in Washington, DC, most still with tags.
