1950s cerise silk damask Marjorie Michael cocktail dress

Description

1950’s cerise pink silk Jacquard cocktail dress. Cap sleeves with a square neckline. Gathers at the sides of the bust with a large bow diagonally placed on the left bust. Piping around the waistline. Fitted bust, waist and hips. Metal zipper up the back with decorative swirled fabric buttons at the back neckline and center back waist. Bodice is lined with a cerise rayon fabric and an underskirt of the same fabric. Labels read, “Pure Silk” and “Marjorie Michael California”.

Condition: Near mint. Clean and ready to wear with no loose seams, stains, or holes. (one tiny pinhole in underskirt, not visible.)
