1950s pintucked bodice floral cotton dress

Description

Pretty 1950s yellow floral print cotton dress with wonderful pintucked pleats across the front bust. Fabric is a semi-sheer thin cotton, but the bodice is doubled up with a lining of the same fabric. Double straps that crisscross at the shoulders. Piping around the waist. Metal zipper up the back.

condition: Cleaned, pressed and ready to wear. Checked inside and out for holes, stains, loose seams and wear. No noticeable wear. On close inspection there is a small repair on the back skirt toward the hem that has been discretely patched and not noticeable. Not visible, but there are a couple of rust spots on the underside of the shoulder straps, right where they would hang on a hanger.
