1970s black burnout rayon velvet maxi dress with an illusion bodice. Black velvet ribbon waistline and large bow in front. Ruffle hemline. Zipper up the back with a snap placket. Ribbon around waist opens with hook and eye closures on the side. Attached black silky underskirt, probably rayon.

condition: excellent. Fabric is crisp and clean with little wear. Checked for any issues like stains, holes and loose seams. On close inspection there is a darned repair along the hem.
