vintage Cadoro jeweled dangle earrings red green + blue

Description

Stunning and hard-to-find vintage Cadoro large jeweled gold-tone dangle earrings with deep dark red, blue and green glass cabochons encrusted with rhinestones. Cadoro was a partnership between Steven Brody and Daniel Stoenescu, operated from 1954 through 1987, producing limited quantity and unique pieces. The company’s tagline was, “Famous Jewelry to the Rich and Famous!” and sold at Neiman Marcus and Saks. These earrings are one of the better examples of their work. Basically huge and opulent without being tacky.

condition: very good/excellent. All rhinestones and cabochons are present and shiny. There is a little wear to the gold-tone plate, mainly at the link and on the back underside where the earrings sit on the earlobe, see photos, but not visible while wearing. A little glue also in this underside area and on the clips, but not visible or noticeable while wearing.
