1930s beige crepe bias cut evening gown with sheer net and lace (repair)

Description

From the repair pile: 1930s beige rayon crepe evening gown with sheer net and appliquéd lace along the bust and shoulders. Gorgeous lace neckline that drapes along the shoulders. There are interior straps and a net bra-like connection to the crepe fabric along the bust. Wonderful flared back hemline. Fabric is sewn on the bias and therefor has some stretch.

condition: good condition. The crepe is sturdy and wearable, a little discolored/blotchy on the back lower skirt and the hem is unrolling, but it’s not something you will notice. However, as you can see, there are holes along each shoulder in the net/lace where someone unfortunately stored this dress on a hanger. There is also around a 2 inch separation in the net under the front ruffle, but this is not visible. The crepe and lace do not have any other noticeable issues. If you can repair the net/lace along the shoulders and don’t mind the discoloration along the back skirt, this is a gorgeous 30s gown.
