the best 1930s dark blue print cotton dress

Description

Wonderful 1930s dark blue cotton dress with red + white abstract print and hand-painted red + blue plastic buttons. Great cheongsam-like neckline with a line of pleating above the chest. Nice detail with decorative sewn lines in yellow, red, and green along the cuffs, under and above the chest. Front and back kick pleat. Keyhole button opening at the back neckline. No side openings, have to wiggle in. Comes with a matching belt.

condition: unworn, near mint for age. Fabric is crisp and bright, freshly cleaned and checked for any issues like stains, holes and loose seams. On close inspection there is a slight bit of darkening to a couple of the white dots along the right side of the bodice, but not noticeable.
