Really unique 1930s 40s printed black suede slip-on heels by Madelon Originals, made in Hollywood. I’m not familiar with this label, but I love the stars on the insole heel with the statement, “Designed for the stars of Hollywood.” The print on the suede is in a subtle baby blue and gold of what looks like stars and melting wagon wheels?? It looks hand-painted. The suede over the toes is gathered. Black leather soles and insoles.
label: Madelon Originals, styled for the stars, made in Hollywood; “designed for the stars of Hollywood”
condition: the suede is in excellent condition, only a little wear to the printed design around the heels and there is wear to the soles. Insole is fine except for the toe of the left shoe where it is split, but glued in place. These have minor issues, but leather is pliable and wearable.
size: no printed size, but a NARROW foot with approximately a size 7 1/2 or 8 in length. Too narrow for my regular size 7 foot.
length from heel edge to toe edge: 10″
width of ball of foot: 3″
width over toes: 5 1/4″
heel height: 3 5/8″
