1950s 60s Lilli Ann black mohair eyelash wool pleated swing coat

Description

1950s 60s Lilli Ann pleated black mohair/eyelash wool swing coat. Silky smooth fabric, feels almost like fur, with a shine from the mohair and sparkle from the eyelash (a shiny black synthetic hair, like an eyelash). Black plastic pairs of shank buttons up the front. Awesome pleated design that swings out when you turn, see photos. Side pockets. Large collar that can be pulled up around the neck. Lined with a black satin, probably rayon. Heavy weight as you might expect with a coat like this.

condition: Fabric is crisp and clean, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Checked for any issues like stains, holes and loose seams. On close inspection there are a couple tiny spots where the pile is sparse – not noticeable. The lining is a little discolored and has a large discoloration spot, but not visible while wearing, see photos. Buttons are not original to the coat – original buttons were the same wool fabric, but two were missing – will include original buttons on request.
