1950s David Goodstein linen + silk organza dress (issues)

Out of stock

Gorgeous fabric. 1950s David Goodstein cream linen cocktail dress with unique sheer silk organza crisscross sectioned fabric and beautiful floral embroidered cutout hem. Fitted bust, waist and hip. Metal zipper up the back. Unlined.

label: David W. or M. Goodstein

condition: Such a unique and pretty dress, much prettier than photos, but not perfect. The organza in two spots right at the underarms is torn and two spots on the shoulders. This can be replaced with other fabric, extra fabric from the large seams or backed with an interfacing. Inside underarms are yellowed, but only right on the seams edge on the outside of dress. Dress has a couple faint spots on the front bodice, see photo. A dry cleaning may help with spots and yellowing. Back zipper and side seams have been taken in.
