1950s 60s pointed toe brown lizard skin spiked heels and matching handbag set. Entire lining of the shoes is satin with a leather trim around the foot opening. The purse is on the larger side, with a goldtone brass clasp, tiny brass feet on the bottom and fully lined with a tan vinyl. Two gold-trimmed slit interior pockets and one zipper interior pocket.
label: Palizzio, “very New York”
condition: excellent with no noticeable issues. The skin is very pliable and wearable, has varied dark-light coloration as shown with no stains or issues found. The leather shoe soles show expected wear and the satin insoles look a little dingy at the ball of the foot, see photos. Faint numbers written on the sole of the right shoe, but not noticeable. Purse interior is clean with no issues except one tiny tear at one corner of the zipper opening and a very slight ‘grandma smell’. There is a little wear along the edges of the purse handles and the brass clasp has some color loss and faint oxidation. See photos.
