1960s Jack Clarke Ireland Irish black wool coat mink fur trim

Description

Wonderful quality and tailoring Jack Clarke made in Dublin, Ireland blue and black abstract plaid coat. Black mink trim on the cuffs and collar. Fabric is a heavy smooth wool weave. Pairs of dark blue plastic buttons up the front. Side hip pockets. Lined with a purplish acetate. Famed Irish designer Sybil Connolly designed at Jack Clarke for years.

label: Made in Dublin, Ireland, especially for Lord + Taylor, by Jack Clarke. 91% pure new wool, 7% rayon, 2% nylon.

condition: excellent. Only lightly worn, fabric is crisp and bright, having little sign of wear. Checked for any issues like stains, holes and loose seams. On close inspection there are a couple minor pulls that are not noticeable and the interior lining is discolored (purplish).
