1970s Gunne Sax empire waist ecru and pink cotton jute trim Neiman Marcus

Fantastic 1970s Gunne Sax empire waist ecru cotton maxi dress with jute-like trim and striped pink upper accents. This is definitely one of the nicer Gunne Sax dresses I have seen and the Neiman Marcus tag shows that this dress was on the higher end of this label at the time. The gathered bust, upper sleeves and hem ruffle are made of the pink striped fabric, a cotton synthetic blend. The ecru fabric is a crisp cotton, like a muslin, with flecks of natural fibers. Sleeve cuffs zip open and closed. Zipper opening up the back.

condition: very good/excellent. Checked for any issues like stains, holes and loose seams. On close inspection there are some tiny faint spots on the skirt, but they blend in with the flecked cotton weave of the fabric. Have not attempted to clean this item due to the jute trim, leaving up to buyer, but shows little wear.
