1970s purple cotton gauze bib Indian dress

Description

Beautiful sheer purple cotton Indian floor-length dress. Fabric is a paisley print in purple hues. Bib-style bodice with purple trim. Keyhole neckline with one set of ties. Ties have decorative beads and yarn wrapped balls at their ends. Long billowing sleeves with elastic cuffs.

condition: No noticeable wear, the dress has been worn and is very light and airy (as opposed to crisp and starched). Freshly cleaned and checked for any issues like stains, holes and loose seams. The elastic in the sleeves was worn out from age and we had this replaced with brand new elastic. This is not noticeable, but there is a manufacturing defect – a light discoloration the size of half a nickle right at the back hem, the dye did not take in this spot.
