Description

I love clothing with a sense of humor. 1960s 70s appliquéd fabric ‘chicken eating feed’ maxi jeans skirt. This appliqué is great – the red waddle is padded out to make it 3-dimensional. Little rosette beads that look like chicken feed are sewn to the skirt. Fully lined with a red floral cotton – combined with the jeans material, this skirt has some weight to it, not for warm weather.

label: probably handmade

condition: very good/excellent. Fabric is crisp and bright, freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Checked for any issues like stains, holes and loose seams. On close inspection there is some slight yellowing to the white fabric, see photos. There are also marks on each side of the waistline where this was stored on a metal clip hanger for years.
